CRAFTING PROCESS
Inspired by the aperitivo hour across Europe, Sokol Blosser White Aperitif is a refreshing, crisp, slightly tart fortified wine perfect for whetting the appetite before a lunch or dinner meal. First, our wine was distilled to brandy (70% ABV) by distiller Lynsee Sardell at her distillery in Forest Grove, Oregon. Nik Blosser worked with Lynsee to macerate dozens of different botanical ingredients, both local and from around the world, to craft our final blend. A final mixture of a dozen ingredients was macerated in brandy for two weeks, then blended into our white wine and infused for several hours with an array of flowers, then gently strained out.* The final blend was bottled by hand on August 7th.

*As a result of using real botanicals, there are remaining particulates that are visible but perfectly natural and safe to enjoy.

FLAVOR PROFILE
On the nose our White Aperitif bursts with bright notes of tart lemon, pineapple, honeydew, and a touch of anise. The palate is yellow citrus forward with lemon, sweet pineapple, fruit punch and honey dew melon.

COCKTAIL SUGGESTIONS
Our White Aperitif is perfect simply poured over ice, or try in a variety of cocktails where you use Lillet Blanc:

• Sokol Spritz: 1 part Aperitif and 5 parts soda water, served in a tall glass, over ice, with a lemon slice garnish
• Vesper martini: 2 parts gin, 1 part vodka, ½ part Aperitif, stirred over ice, strained in to a coup with a lemon peel garnish.
